Get ready for some fun dressmaking before summer kicks in! In just four weeks, you’ll have the chance to design and sew your very own summer-tiered skirt to wear all season long!
When: Thursdays, 2:30 – 4:00 pm
Dates: 28th May, 4th June, 11th June, 18th June
Special Rate: €70 for all 4 weeks
Who can join: Classes 1–6; no experience needed.
We provide: sewing machines, thread, elastic, scissors, pins, and practice fabric.
You bring: your favourite cotton or lightweight fabric for the tiered skirt.
1 metre for a knee-length or mini-skirt.
1.5–2 metres for a longer skirt.
What’s covered:
- Week 1: Meet your machine + safety. Measure & cut
- Week 2: Sew it all together
- Week 3: Add waistband + elastic
- Week 4: Hem, finish, and try it on.
By the end of the fourth week, your child’s skirt will be finished and ready to wear for summer!
Not into skirts? No problem! They can make scrunchies, tote bags, and other fun accessories instead.
